Accredited Barbering Course Online (2-3 Months)
Welcome to Basic Barber 1301. You are now entering the theory portion of the program. Of the required 750 total credit hours, students may earn up to 220 hours online upon successful completion of this section.
During this online theory phase, the following subject areas will be covered:

Orientation & Business Topics – 25 Hours

State Laws and Regulations – 10 Hours
-
Applied Sciences – 100 Hours
-
General Sciences – 80 Hours
-
Product Knowledge – 5 Hours
Upon successful completion of the online theory requirements, students will receive a Certificate of Completiondocumenting the hours earned.
These completed theory hours may be transferred to any accredited Basic Barbering School within the State of Virginia. Please note that to qualify for Virginia State Board testing for Basic Barber licensure, students must successfully complete the full 750 required hours of barber training.
